Postage + Shipping

Important - We are still seeing the effects of covid19 with a lot more parcels going through the sorting centres and a lot of back log in the centres, so are seeing longer delays than normal. Please be patient and if your parcel has taken longer than the estimated delivery time (5 working days) - you can call NZ Post on 0800 501 501 and query it from there. Please understand that as someone who sends through NZ Post, I am using the service only - it doesn't make me privy to any more information than what you can see on the tracking. That is what I see also, so your best bet is to contact NZ Post as it is in their hands, I have no control over the posting process. (Please note - the day the parcel is sent is not considered a working day - it is from the next day and only working days count, not weekends.)

Notes to consider with postage -

- In your first instance, contact NZ Post on 0800 501 501 if you haven't received your parcel within the estimated delivery time (5 working days) I cannot help until an investigation is open if it is a missing parcel - beyond that, I can only see the info you can see.

- Please add your RD number to your address - I DO NOT charge extra for rural even though it costs me more - this is important as it is a service that HAS to be paid for and I can add the correct tickets to the parcel. If you do not add your RD number, (whilst it is usually obvious your address is rural, I don't always know - you need to make sure your address is correct) - the parcel may be held at your local depot or you may be charged for insufficient ticketing.

- Please be kind. Please remember I do my part and send your orders and get them out the door - once they have have left me, I have absolutely no control over what happens so please don't be nasty, nor to the customer service people at NZ Post who are just doing their job, (which they are wonderful at!)

How much is postage?

I use NZ Post for my postage. Nationwide tracked is $8.50 for non signature (meaning the parcel will be left - this is at your own risk) I also have the option of signature required which is $12.50 and recommended to avoid stolen parcels. 

Whilst rural delivery is extra, I don't charge for rural delivery and absorb the extra cost. When checking out please still add your RD number if you are rural to ensure I add the right tickets to your parcel. (Please note with rising costs of posts yearly - this price may be subject to change at any time)

Pick up is not available sorry as I work from our private home rurally. 

Do you ship to Australia?

Yes I do! A flat rate of $15.00 NZD is charged - please note that this is not tracked so is sent as a standard parcel. It is unable to be tracked so once I have sent, it is no longer my responsibility. No refunds or reimbursements are available for lost parcels. The targeted delivery time frame is 3 to 10 working days. Please be patient as this is a targeted time frame and we are still in a covid19 pandemic around the world.

I do also offer an international courier option that is tracked and signature required, at a flat rate of $35.00 NZD. The targeted time frame for delivery is 2 to 6 working days. And a tracking number will be sent to you for that option. Please be patient as this is a targeted time frame and we are still in a covid19 pandemic around the world.

How long do orders and postage take?

As I am doing all this as one person, I say approximately 2 to 7 days from ordering for your order to be ready to send. (Although I am often a lot quicker than that!) And then NZ Post put their target delivery time at 3 to 5 days. Although please remember that is ONLY a target date and may take longer, especially to rural. So please be patient as everyone along the chain is just doing their best. Best to order as early as you can to avoid disappointment.

Also please note, that once I have posted your order, I can no longer take responsibility for it as it is then in the hands of the postal service and completely out of my control as to delivery time frame, delays, hold ups etc. and I can take no responsibility for anything arriving late or being stolen. No refunds or replacements will be issued. If you are worried about something being stolen from your address, please use the signature required option.
